WENTWORTH — Representatives from more than 40 businesses and industries will attend the annual Job Fair and Career Expo at Rockingham Community College on Tuesday.
Business representatives will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday in the RCC gymnasium. They will to talk with job seekers, answer questions, and provide brochures and information. Many representatives will accept applications and resumes.
The types of companies represented this year include staffing agencies, cosmetic companies, health care facilities, government agencies, schools, armed services, child care businesses, and local industries.
Job seekers, recent graduates, and experienced workers who are interested in discussing job opportunities are encouraged to wear business attire and bring an up-to-date resume, questions for the company representatives, and an understanding that many company representatives will be assessing them as potential employees.
The event is jointly sponsored by RCC and Rockingham County JobLink Career Center in Wentworth.
